We handsomely beat HAC, thanks in large part to a scintillating spell of bowling from Laurence. On a low, slow pitch, we made 224-5 in 49 overs - the skipper compiling a doughty hundred, accompanied by an enterprising 68 from Shomit. Then it was the Laurence show. With mesmerising control and fizz, he unravelled their innings before it had got going, ripping through their top and middle order on his way to the absurd figures of 13-7-18-7. Hugo polished off the tail to leave them 90 all out. A large, and gratifying, victory.
