Charlatans

Charlatans were founded as the result of a merger of two clubs in 1993 and are now the official pride of South West London. They are based just off Ha-Ha Road, and early season games with them inevitably result in some moderate level of hilarity, on a damp pitch and with cold winds whipping fielders standing on the exposed Garrison Field, praying a steepling catch doesn't come in their direction (Gaieties fielders at least).
They are a good bunch and provide and excellent tea featuring cake and Wotsits.
The 2015 season opened with this fixture, and Tim Schneider's superb century anchored a solid Gaieties total, which was easily defended.

No doubt Charlatans will be out to avenge that defeat, and Schneider's will be the prize wicket when he leads his team out onto the field.
